Salmon Cream Cheese Cucumber Salad with Everything Bagel Flavor

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets about 1 lb total, skinless
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 English cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1/4 red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp capers drained
  • Optional: 1 avocado diced

Method
 

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes per side until flaky and cooked through. Let cool slightly, then flake into bite-sized pieces with a fork.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lemon juice, and everything bagel seasoning. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Add the sliced cucumbers, chopped red onion, and fresh dill to the bowl. If using, fold in capers and diced avocado at this stage.
  4. Gently fold in the flaked salmon until everything is evenly coated with the cream cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled, garnished with extra dill if desired.
